Beskrivelse

Be it launching down a start ramp or living it up on bike park laps, the AM9 (AM903) MTB SPD Shoes deliver all the performance you need when you're pushing your mountain bike riding to the limits. Starting with the upper, this is made from a durable synthetic material that is more than capable of taking the hard knocks of mountain biking. A revised shape also makes the AM9s suitable for a wider range of foot shapes. 

The ankle gets raised protection to fend off crank strikes while heel and toe are also reinforced to protect against debris kicked up off the trail. Across the top of the foot, a shield also prevents dust, mud or debris from getting inside. Underneath the shield, the quick-lace system makes it super quick and easy to get the fit just right.

When you're on the pedals and getting lairy, the proprietary Shimano compound outsole keeps you firmly in control. The extended Pedal Channel gives super-quick and easy cleat engagement, no matter which pedal system you prefer. And with a wider pedal contact area and refined toe and heel pattern you'll always enjoy impressive grip on the pedal body, both when you're foot-out and unclipped or when clipped-in and pedalling hard. 

With a stiffness rating of 5/12, you get good pedalling efficiency too. And when you're off the bike and walking, be it grabbing some refreshments or going round to session a trail feature, it's also got the flexibility to allow easy mobility across any terrain.

Cleat Guidance

These MTB shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use cleats with SPD standard (2-bolt standard), e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, CrankBrothers, CrankBrothers Race, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB.
