Moon’s Orion comes with an ultra-bright red LED with a specially adapted lens and integrated reflectors that spread the light and create excellent levels of side visibility. The light helps you stay seen from behind and to your sides which is important when traversing multiple lanes of traffic.
The light comes with five different light modes which can easily be toggled between by holding down on the power button. The light modes allow you to find the best lighting for your current environment and depleting battery life.
Mode One: 10 lumens – 5.30 hours
Mode Two: 20 lumens – 2.30 hours
Flash One: 10 lumens – 53 hours
Flash Two: 20 lumens – 26 hours
Day Flash: 50 lumens – 30 hours
The integrated 300mAh lithium-polymer battery is USB rechargeable using the integrated Micro-USB charging cable which lets you charge the light via any standard USB port. The light fully recharges in just 2 hours and holds up to 53 hours of battery life. A battery light indicator also lets you know when your battery is low, charging, and fully charged.
The housing unit has been ruggedly designed to withstand all that your commute has to throw at it. The construction protects against impacts and abrasions with an IPX5 water and dust resistant rating.
Included in the pack is a magnetic mount and 2 o-rings that provide a secure attachment to your various seat post types aero and standard bars. The magnetic mount also lets you connect the light to clothing, helmets, panniers and more.
