The upper of the Women's Hurricane MTB Cycling Shoes benefit from a soft microfibre, perforated for ventilation, ensuring your feet are wrapped in comfort right from the start of your ride. The Comfort Tongue is also perforated to enhance airflow and it's high-tech cushioning layer makes it brilliantly comfortable. The light and airy theme continue to the 'Transpiration Insole', the anatomic design supporting the foot as you pedal while micro-perforations ensure air circulates the whole foot.
To make sure you get a secure and comfortable fit every time, with no pressure points, Gaerne uses the Boa L6 dial system. Not only is the system lightweight it makes adjustment of the fit quick, precise and simple, even on the bike - just twist and go.
MTB 2Density Sole 7.0
Made from a composite of nylon and fibreglass, the MTB 2Density Sole 7.0 is both light and durable. It offers excellent pedalling efficiency, rated 7 out of 12 for stiffness, but with enough give for comfort over rough terrain and when walking. When you're off the bike the aggressive tread pattern gives tenacious grip across a variety of terrain.
Cleat Guidance
These shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use the 2-bolt cleat standard (SPD standard), e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, CrankBrothers, CrankBrothers Race, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB. Also suitable for indoor trainers in gyms etc.
