The easily removable chin bar gives you the best of both worlds for a true all-mountain helmet; on long climbs simply remove the chin bar and stow it in your pack, then lock it back on ready for a rowdy descent.
Keeping your head cool no matter what, Bell gives the Super 3R 23 vents over the top and 6 vents in the chin bar and this is backed up by X-Static® Padding, wicking away sweat and battling odour build-up - you're not going to be the stinky one ar the post-ride cafe stop. To capture you and your buddies' best bits on the trail the helmet even features an Integrated Breakaway Camera Mount - fails or trail stars caught on action cam every time.

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)
The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.
Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.
